Georg Freese started writing already when he was in the third grade when, with a classmate, he created a book series of stories and pictures of space ships and space heroes, inspired by his favourite Japanese animated series - Captain Future and Robotech.

An avid video game fan, at the age of twelve he wrote a story about his favourite hero - the elven warrior Link, from The Legend of Zelda - which told of the events that took place after the hero had completed the quest of the game.

As a teenager, he was fascinated by Ancient Egypt, developed a passion for Greek mythology and tragedy, and began to learn about the Roman world.

It was during this time that he read medieval epics such as Spain's El Cid Campeador, France's Le Chanson De Roland, and England's Knights of the Round Table, as well as Beowulf.

Georg loves medieval, fantasy, and science fiction movies, as well as horror, for their spectacular special effects, creature designs, and costumes, with close attention to the symphonic music that always accompanies these productions. As a teenager, he was just as inspired by these to create his own renditions of these genres in his writing.

In his twenties, he came across the Game of Thrones series, and this was the final catalyst that made Georg decide to dedicate himself to writing. Since then, he has studied the craft, learned from the greats, and worked on sketch after sketch, plot after plot, and developed character after character.

Though many of his projects ended up on the cutting room floor, and many are still in development, a select few have made it out onto the world and are available for readers everywhere today.
